The only one who can answer this is your PO - that's who you would have to ask for permission.

I'd make it 60/40 in favor of the probation department.

I would say if you have not had any problems, got your fines up to date, have any fees up to date and so on. Then it should not be a issue. But then it is still up to the PO, don't buy any tickets tillyou get it approved

Make sure you ask 30 to 60 days prior to wanting to leave

I vote with excon - only I'd be more like 70/30.
