I have transferred some of my files from my old XP computer to my new Vista Computer. When I open them they are in some type of code(?). What am I doing wrong? :confused:

It's probably Vista, I heard it's buggy. But what file type are these?

What type of code do you mean?

What kind of files did you copy that you are trying to open?
Are they programs or just files that usually open with a program?

Just need more info
