View Full Version : Internet won't work, spyware

Hello everyone,

Hi, I am new to this site. I joined because I have a major problem. I have a blue screen when I start my computer that says, "Warning! Spyware detected on your computer!" This replaces the background on my desktop. I have Norton Antivirus and I ran a scan, but the virus definitions haven't been updated since 2004. So, I tried to update them, and the LiveUpdate couldn't access the server, nor could I use the Internet. It opens to a white page. On the bottom of the screen, it loads up to four bars, then stops.

I don't know what I can do, since I can't download any antispyware. Even now, I am using the library's computer.

Please, someone respond soon.:(

P.S. I have gone to the FAQ, but I couldn't do any of the suggested actions because, well, I can't access the internet.
