My kenmore 80 series gas dryer heats up but takes all day to dry 1 load of clothes. It just started this about a week ago. Can I fix it myself

Don't know. You can observe the burner. Bet it's turning off after x time and restarting after y time.

Probably means a thorough cleaning of the ductwork and every place inside the dryer lint can hide.
