I'm trying to chart my fertile signs, and I decided to give cervical position a shot this time, however, I have no idea what I'm feeling nor if I'm even feeling my cervix

I need to know, is what I'm feeling for going to be at some kind of angle? I feel some kind of spongy egg shaped bump on the front wall (its kind of hard like a bone is inside of it:eek: ) I can't reach any farther then that..

It can be tricky, and may take a few months to get good at telling the different stages of your cycle by feel. During your cycle, your cervix will change, similar to how the cervix starts to change before labor. After your period is often the easiest time to feel it as it tends to be pretty low. Will likely feel quite firm, closed, and low. When you get closer to ovulation, it will move higher up, soften (spongy feeling), and open slightly... it can be difficult to feel as it can soften so much it feels much like the rest of the vaginal wall.
Some women find this is a relatively easy way to watch for signs the body is preparing for ovulation, others just find it frustrating!

As Doula stated, this can be very tricky, confusing and frustrating. Even as a nurse in Labor & Delivery, I sometimes have a hard time locating the cervix of my patient, I eventually do, but it can be tricky.
