Okay, I am no expert by any means, but from my reading up on things, I would say that this $2 bill I have from 1953 w/ red ink is in Very Fine condition... the serial number is A44449637 A... the letter in the corner is I, along w/ a very small number 7 next the letter in the bottom right hand corner... does anybody have any idea what this may be worth?

In the meantime, and as per Flying Blue Eagle's request, it would be helpful if you would post the following information concerning the currency that you have. I know that you have already provided some of the information that is asked for in the quote that is below.

Zakari chan- In answer to your post - 1953 $2.00 dollar note, From what I have to go on here is your answer - ( Signatures ) - Should be ( PRIEST - HUMPHREY )
VF-20 UNC 63
#1509.- $ 6.50 $ 12.00
# 1509* $ 10.00 $ 45.00

Zak - Im not really sure that it will go as ( VFOR VF-20 ) I'm just guessing from where you posted that you could not make out the other signature. Good Luck and have a great day and GOD BLESS ::: F.B.E.

Those are actually quite common. They look like they are worth something but not that much. Look it up on eBay and see what one goes for.

Jrwild - yes you are right part of the way, because some of them were & are still worth something , On eBay people expect to get something for nothing. Have a great day ::: And GOD BLESS ::: F.B.E.
