What is it worth

I might be incorrect, but it looks to be dated somewhere in the 1950s. Does it still work? Nice cabinet! Is it a black and white T.V. or one that was in color?

I found the following quote from the following site to be helpful if it is black and white T.V. I hope that you do too! There is also quite a bit of other information available on that site. ETF - How much is my set worth? (http://www.earlytelevision.org/how_much.html)

1950s Black and White Sets. Most sets made after 1950 are not worth much. Consoles, because of their shipping cost and because they take up so much room to display, are worth even less. A typical set from the 50s might sell for $50 or so. Philco Predictas (http://www.earlytelevision.org/philco_tandem_predicta.html), DuMont Royal Sovereigns (http://www.earlytelevision.org/dumont_ra119.html), and a few other sets are exceptions, and sell for several hundred dollars.
