And walk away he is not eating enough tried the gravy stuff you put on still nothing
If I mix wet he will eat the whole thing but won't chew the dry just swallow the dry whole
Than get sick, its like he is soooo hungry but just won't eat dry.

Try the little satchets of food you can buy in most supermarkets, especially for puppys.
It will tell you how much to give your pup usually by his weight.
There are a variety of makes he's sure to like one.

I would crush the chow and add a little wet to it. Give him a small bit at a time and see how he does. I would also leave a very small amount uncrushed in a bowl and see if maybe through out the day he might munch on it.

Try a raw diet. If your buying innova you are probably shopping in a good pet feed store. They probably carry the raw foods as well. I don't know much about the crested pooches but I've seen photos. They have kind of scraggly teeth. Maybe he can't chew that well. The raw foods are easily chewed and very tasty I'm sure. My dogs love the raw meat. There are even some raw mixes that have veggies, fruits and herbs so they get a well balanced diet.

It could be because they are dry,my dog was excactly the same but now loves the biscuits, have you tried bakers 2 in 1? There the dry biscuits but you add a bit of water 2 make it into a gravy

Try the soft and moist dog food. It comes in little individually wrapped packages. I use it when I am trying to wean puppies after they have had a bit of time with wet food. It's solid dogfood, but it is moist enough for developing teeth to chew. I shop at wal-mart:( so I know that there is a walmart brand of this dog food, but I'm sure the name brand companies make it too.

Also with dry food sometimes I mix a little vegetable oil or milk with it to soften it up and make it more desirable for the dog. That may not work since your dog swallows it hole, but if you get a dog food with smaller pieces it may help
