I have to have a hair follicle test done for a new job.. I am taking prescription vicodin. I was told that if I bring proof of my prescription that my test will come out negative.. I wanted to know if the mro will let the employer know about how much is in my system or does the mro just give them a negative or positive, also does the mro let the employer know what I am taking..
Thank you so much
Sara

I'm sure you will be asked to sign a waiver, that will allow them to report the full test results, so unless you don't sign the waiver, the answer would be yes, they will know what was discovered in the test.

Well, let's see, if the test comes out positive, they will report a positive. However, they will report a positive with a prescription. It then may be up to you to produce the prescription, typically a written statement, from your doctor to prove that is a current and existing prescription.

Yes, the test can not come out negative if you are using it as a prescription, so that is what it will show positive and then you provide the place of work proof of the prescription.
