I have a Kirkland Signature washing machine by Whirlpool. One day while washing,it stopped in mid-wash,really when it was time to stop and begain spinning,it never did.I tried to turn it off and start it again, but it never turned back on.It will fill with water, but the wash cycle never kicks in.could it be some kind of relay? What could it be?
Please help.

When it dose this , have you lifted the lid and closed it? If so, does it complete spin cycle at theis time?

We've tried the lid thing and it didn't work,it just didn't turn back on for some reason.Like I said before,it'll fill up with water, but it won't kick into the wash cycle.

Check your lid switch. With the lid down press in the middle of the lid it will probably buckle but will snap right back when released. If the washer starts again, then the lid switch is out of adjustment or gunked up. Either way that is the problem. Either readjust the sw or replace.
