I had my appendix removed on Tuesday. When I to my dressings off my wounds I notice that in my belly button there is this little piece of skin that is loose and hasn't been stiched up. It hurts a little. And I am just woundering whether to go to the doctors about it now or just to wait till it has healed. But I don't want it to wait too long just in case I need to get stiches or in case it gets infected!

Go to the doctor to have it checked out.
