Approx 1.5 years ago I purchased a G E Profile refrigerator (Bottom freezer) model number PDS22SBRBLSSand it has worked well until just recently. The freezer does not stay at zero. It shoots up to about 21 degrees. I have noticed this more when the weather outside was very very hot and I did not turn my air conditioner on. I tried to reset the digital temperature back to zero but still no luck. The weather outside got cooler and I noticed the freezer went back to zero. I'm not sure if I want to invest in a repair person to come over only for them to change the "mother board" or compressor when I know it's not that. Any suggestions??

Isn't this is under warranty?

Unfortunately it is NOT under warranty any longer. 1 year waranty only
