In an ideal world, united would buy...

Kaka to replace Ryan Giggs (end of career or close to it)
Steven Gerrard to replace Michael Carrick
Fernando Torres to replace Paul Scholes (end of career or close to it)
Rooney or Tevez to drop deeper
Petyr Cech to replace Van der Saar,

The papers still reckon we have palced a bid for Berbatov!

It's a good thing that this is only your ideal world, in reality Stevie G or Fernando Torres would never go to Man u.

However respect to Ryan Giggs and Paul Scoles who have given everything to united over the years.

Petyr Cech was brilliant although he's made a few boobies lately... is he losing it?. I wonder!!

Manchester united are currently trying to sign a new striker before the transfer window closes.

"Demata Burgatoff," is his name, I'm sure I have spelt it wrong, but you'll get the jist of who I mean I hope. He currently plays for... Tottenham Hotspur.

AS we speak both managers are in talks, to see if they can agree on a fee, before the close of play.

Great Signing for Manchester United ... I really would like to see Manchester United Strikers to score.

Brilliant signing especially with Ranaldo out at the moment... but cost a hell of a lot of money, not totally sure how much but I think it was in the region of 30 million... WOW.
Hopefully he will prove his worth, having said that is any player worth that amount of money!!

At the moment your looking at maybe Rooney and Bernatov up front, then of course they still have Teves.

Although I don't support that particular club, I can appreciate good football, I think they will do well this season, mind you Chelsea are looking good, so we'll see what the season brings, earley days yet...

Current football news here... Kevin Kegan resigned from Newcastle, which is a shame never had a fair go, he wasn't allowed to manage, players were bought and sold by the board... fans are fuming, they maybe boycotting the games in support of Kegan.

That's it for now
