Hello,
I am new to this site, I will get right to the point, my fiancé, was put on Probation in VA a couple of years ago 06. He was pulled over 2 weeks ago for a traffic violation, VA had issued a warrant for Probation Violation, Abscondering is the charge. We live in NC and he was born and raised here. When he was released from his minimal time in VA, he was "Allowed" to move back to his home state as long as he had family here and supplied them with the address. At the time that was his Ant. He was released in Jan O6 she passed in Feb 06 very suddenly and unexpectantly. His original charge in VA was Conspiracy (something to do with stealing) the active time was 10 years. This is his first violation on this probation (not to use that as an excuse) but I am wondering if they will give him a second chance at Probation or just throw the book at him. I understand that it is ultimately up to the courts, I just wandered if anyone might now anything more about VA with there CommonWealth system.
Thanks for any response.
