Hello, I'm really into my music and I'm running out of stuff to listen to!
Any suggestions for new music for me?

I'm into pretty much anything.
I like Ska, Rock, Dance.

I like bands like Kids In Glass Houses, Led Zeppelin, Less than Jake, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bob and Damien Marley, Fedde Le Grande, The Beatles, The Prodigy, Pendulum, Rage Against the Machine, Coldplay, Newton Falkner, pretty much anything.

Many thanks for any suggestions x

The Prodigy

Pendulum

Rage Against the Machine

Coldplay  How... on the same list... just... how? :D

Just from my obsession with playing Guitar Hero I think you should listen to London band, Dragon Force's album Inhuman Rampage, there's some AWESOME power metal going on there!

Also you could try out Kate Nash and The Cribs!

But seriously, less of the Coldplay, I've heard it can make you turn inside-out with depression! :D

Your music tastes are pretty diverse and so are mine, I think that's a good thing, why narrow your options? I pretty much like all of what's been suggested, and here are a few more :)
Scissor Sister, Paoli Nuttini, Santana, James Morrison, The Kooks, Maroon 5, Chemical Brothers

I'm not trying to pass judgment, or any thing like that. Just wanted to point out that there are an enormous amount of "books" that a person might "read" concerning the many ways that music is expressed for our listening enjoyment. Exposure to different "elements" can be most healthy for a person.

You say that you are pretty much into anything, yet you pretty much list only those which most people would consider to be in the popular genre. Any chance that you might be open to other types of music genre, such as those that might be considered to be jazz, folk, classical or even others? I'm a music educator, director and performer. As such, I'm into a very large variety of music types and genres.

Just some thoughts and ideas for you...

I hope that you catch my "drift"...

I'm just curious...

Thanks!

... those that might be considered to be jazz, folk or classical?

Clough, I like the Electric Light Orchestra, does that count as classical? He he he! :p

Jimi Hendrix
Pink Floyd

... and Santana

Hey, well thanks for everyone's ideas.

Clough- "You say that you are pretty much into anything, yet you pretty much list only those which most people would consider to be in the popular genre".

I only list the popular genres because that's what the majority of people listen to. I was hoping that by putting more famous bands like Led Zeppelin, that more people would get the idea of the kind of music I'm into and give me further options of bands which I haven't already listed. And that's exactly what I got. (Thanks everyone). Although I'm open to any type of music genre in which people like to share. I do listen to other genres, I like folk. I should know I live in Cornwall. Everyone here goes to wet muddy festivals and dances to the sound of volins.

iAMfromHuntersBars- I LOVE DRAGON FORCE :D and there ain't nothing wrong with Coldplay, accept you can't play gutair hero to them! Ahaha.

x

Could everyone leave links to music on YouTube or myspace, it helps to listen before I download :)
