I'm looking to start my own trucking co and the first step is to incorporate. Does somebody know what should I do to skip the fee for an attorney, or accountant and do it myself? That is happening in Illinois if that matters

The first thing that we need to know here is what kind of trucking operation that you are going to be running? Multiple trucks, kind of trucks, kind of hauling, having employees, etc.

You mention that the first step is to incorporate. Why are you saying that, please? Do you know that is a requirement for the type of trucking that you are wanting to do?

If you are thinking about incorporation, it's always a good idea to have the input of an attorney to make sure that things are exactly as they need to be so that you don't make any mistakes and are fully protected according to the laws where you are going to operate your business.

Need just a little more information from you concerning the particulars of your business.

Thanks!

There are companies that will sell a kit for incorporation. Just Google incorporation kit and you will find them ranging in price from $25 on up.
