Ok my best friend's mother and father went 2 court today and they said his father is going to be deported but his mother is not. They are not deporting him immediately though. He has another court date in feb. where they will tell him when he's being deported. So that's more than 6 months away and I'm wondering if there is anything his father can do with in this time to avoid being deported?

Most likely no, if they don't have an attorney they need one. But if they are in the country illegally, they are to be sent back, that is what happens.

It depends... if he was arrested for a crime, nothing his family can do BUT if he was arrested and deported for overstaying his visa or entering US illegally, he may be eligible to file a waiver IF his spouse is US citizen and that deportation may cause her extreme hardship.
