My house was built in 1962 and has Case model 3000 wall hung toilets. I am remodeling one bathroom and have to change the plumbing over from wall hung to floor mount. The problem I have is that the current closet flange is mounted to a T with one side going to the sewer and the other going to the vent. How do I vent the toilet once it's mounted to the floor? The soil pipe makes a 30 foot run to the sewer connection.

You're going to like my answer,
If there's a lavatory in your bath the toilet's already vented through the lavatory vent. Close off the existing opening on the vertical stack and reconfigure for a floor mount and You'll be fine. Good luck. Tom
