Hi,
I am 25 yrs old and have a problem of light sensitivity from childhood. Very difficult while driving and playing only during day time. Very much depressed to go out and frustated with many doctors here. As of now I am using goggles and so! Any suggestions on doctors or treatment..

Light sensitivity is something that cannot be CURED, but there are things to make life more comfortable. SUNGLASSES, outdoors, always.

DO you wear glasses?

Do NOT get laser eye surgery, it will only make this worse.

I wear power glasses, apart from it I will wear sunglasses in day time while driving! But with this only 5% of the problem is solved... Any other sunglasses is recommended! But during Evening I am relaxed and free to drive just with my power glasses alone.
What is this disease called?

By "power glasses" I assume you mean reading glasses. I would suggest light tint on these.

THe best things that I can suggest to you are keeping the lights low, and wearing sunglasses outdoors. Perhaps getting all the time bifocals with the reading power at the bottom and no correction at the top that are transitions. Which means that they tint when any UV light is present.

This is not a disease, it's a condition. It's called Photophobia.

Power glasses I meant is reading glasses only.. sorry for not clear. But keeping the lights low... I can't help with the sunlight... Only in sunlight I don't feel comfartable.

This is the reason that I suggested tinted glasses, transition lenses, and prescription sunglasses.
