Hello to all

I gave up my parental rights back in 1999 to my ex-wife during our divorce and have maintain paying child support. In the last five years I have been trying to get joint custody but with no luck, so my question is can I go back to the court and let them know I would like to stop paying support since my ex-wife does not want me to take part in our daughters life; they case is in Minnesota and my daughter leaves in Pitsburgh so I'm asking for any help regarding the laws of either states.

Regards,

No, you could try and take them back to court to get some form of visits maybe, ( but since the court allowed you to give up your rights, they may not give them back.

But child support and visits are not connected one is a right, the other obligation. So you are not going to get child support to stop

And "not want you in the childs life"?? You gave up your rights, she does not have to let you, since you decided then you did not want to
