MY ex-boyfriend keeps going around telling everyone that I am still sleeping with him that is the reason why all of the girls at my school call me a slut and the guys think I am very promiscuous I am in high school now and I am starting to feel helpless about this situation even my current boyfriend is beging to doubt my faithfulness could I sue my ex for slander because this is really effecting my life :(

To sue for slander you need to prove monetary damages. Its very unlikely you will find a lawyer or a judge to take a case that his essentailly about teenage angst.

Do you have proof he has been saying these things? Do you have proof you are not "still" sleeping with him?

And if you really want to be called a slut, try taking something like this to an open Court hearing -

Suddenly your life is on parade.

People call each other names all the times - unless you have monetary damages you really have no case and your only recourse is to live your life in such a manner that it is obvious that what is being said is not true.
