Venting questions about a second floor bathroom:
1) Can I install a 2" vent behind a WC (the WC is at the end of the line and the vent rises upstream of the WV) and then connect a shower and tub (separate fixtures) downstream from the WC and consider them all vented?
2) Can I drain a pair of vanities directly into the main stack?
A diagram is attached.
Thanks!

Hey David,
1) Can I install a 2" vent behind a WC (the WC is at the end of the line and the vent rises upstream of the WV) and then connect a shower and tub (separate fixtures) downstream from the WC and consider them all vented?
No, you can not discharge a major fixture past unvented minor ones. Whic is what you've done.
However, if you use a 3 X2" combination wye and eighth bend, (and not the 3" closet bend w/ 2" side inlet.) to connect the shower upstream from the toilet next to the vent where it will be vented and then tie the tub drain into the shower drain line where the tub will be wet vented and you will be in code.
Please disregard the notation," 3" 3" side inlet" on the print. I had just finished laying out another bathroom and had that configuration in my head.
Sorry! It's late and I'm too tired to correct and rescan it. I did make the drawing tie in point for the shower in the right place.
2) Can I drain a pair of vanities directly into the main stack?
Yes you may if there is nothing else above the connection.
