So I'm writing a book I think, but its more of a diary form. It starts when I'm 11 and daddy leaves but I need a name for a character he's supposed to be my best friend who I love wholeheartedly at the age of 16 and he's amazingly perfect. Have any ideas? Oh and I also need to name an evil fish.

Whenever I write, I use names that are actually character traits to start with, then later on I go back and change that to a name, trying to subtly maintain that character trait.

For instance, just name the fish EvilFish for now. Finish your story. Name your guy PerfectTeen for now. Finish your story.

As you complete your story, you may be surprised to find your character's name becomes self-evident.

For instance, PerfectTeen, might become P.T. as I write, then all of a sudden I'm saying Petey. You get the idea.
