I'm pretty sure it came from my dog because it was lying down on my couch on my covers. I took my covers to my room and I saw a medium (definately not tiny or small) sized bug crawling on it so I threw my covers. I got a closer look and it started hopping around then it began to fly. I saw a whole bunch of the same type of bug all over my covers. I get super freaked out by bugs! This is really weird cause there normally isn't really any bugs around my house.. can someone please tell me what they are they're not flies!
They're brown/black.. they fly and hop(not fleas or ticks.. they don't fly)... medium sized.. and a lot of little legs:confused:

Hop & fly... sounds like a cricket or locust. Can you submit a pic or at least a more detailed description?

It looks like a beetle but I don't know if it is cause I'm pretty sure it came from my dog and I never heard of those on dogs and it has like little legs curved forward in the front its not that big though.. I remember them being kind of long and round.. thanks fer your help
