I've got an '89 YJ carbed 6. Takes forever to start, just won't turn over. I mean like 10 minutes of cranking and pumping. When it finally does, it's almost like it's flooded. Once it starts, it runs absolutely fine, no stalling, missing, etc. Any ideas?

Try getting a new flux capacitor, it helped in mine.

If that doesn't work you could try checking your blinker fluid, if that doesn't work maybe its something with your starter.

Start with the usuals... go over the ignition system replacing old with new... plugs, wires etc... Since this is a carb, a carb rebuild sounds like its in order as well.

Sounds like a possible fuel filter that's plugged
