Hey everyone!

I just broke up with my boyfriend on Saturday and I'm depressed, sad and heartbroken, and I'd really like to start up a new hobbie to keep me entertained

Does anyone know of any good cooking classes to take? Or how to search for them? I put in Google "cooking classes" and my city (don't feel like telling everyone where I live) and not much came up..

Any suggestions of a search topic? Or company that just does classes for people wanting a new hobbie? By the way I live in California.. thanks!

I don't know about your community but I know our community offers classes like that at the local community college.

Do you ever watch Rachael Ray? Every week day she gives a list of ingredients for the next days meal. It gives you a chance to get things organized ahead of time, and then you can watch how she prepares it on the show. You can also watch it again it you Google Rachael Ray's Official Website :: Home (http://www.Rachaelray.com) , and it also gives you a step by step recipe.

Some other sites to try if you don't want to go to a college for now, would be Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, Jamie Oliver, etc. Google " online cooking classes"... there are plenty.

If you can't find that try cake decorating go to wilton .com and but the book "hello cupcake" it shows you all different ways to decorate them. It could be a start. Or for cooking try calling the high school cooking teacher, or homemakers may in a 4H club. Maybe they can help your find some places. Good luck!

JoAnn Fabrics has wilton classes for cake decorating.

Instead of cooking you could also try typing
Baking
Pastry
Culinary
Grilling

Check different community things like women's clubs. They might have information on what's going on in your town.
