I wasn't born in the US.

The other day, one coworker asked if I came here legally?

Should I take it personal or just think it's okay she asked question like that?

I guess it really is up to you whether you let it bother you. I don't normally let rude idiots bother me.

I answered her that I came here legally with my parents.
And one time an old gemtleman said I could move down to South Carolina since they eat pig stomach something like that. And one other lady heard it... she told other coworkers and everyone laughed in front of me.

Is it okay? Is that how the real world is?

I'm sure your workplace has a policy about harassing people on the basis of sex, religion or nationality. You might want to talk to your superivisor or HR manager.

It is really weird how this fortune 500 company is... I only see one black and 4 non white(not black) in a 200 workers building.

This is my 3rd week working here...

I don't want to make any waves, this is my first job after college.

Personally, I wouldn't tolerate it and would start looking for somewhere else to work. It might be prudent to start documenting the snide and rude comments. It means more to supervisors if you can state who said what on which day. Sounds like the good ol' boy network is alive and well in your workplace.
