Well I got a pentium 4 with a Intel celeron - 3.1 ghz processor,1gig of ram,and a good m/board.I want to over clock my ram..

Is there a specific program which I can download to help me to over clock it..

Or

Do I have to change some settings and how? :D

I got 2 memory slots on the mother board, memory slot #1 is the one that blown,so now I only got 1 memory slot left, which I use and only got a 1gig ram,so I think I must make it run a bit faster.. whe I switch my PC on it take a while for it to initialize..
Will the performance be better if I over clock it..

If you have a memory slot that is "blown" and not functioning, you have a defective motherboard. Correct that then you can worry about performance tuning.

If you have a Celeron processor, the biggest performance gain will come from changing to a full Pentium 4.

Special software isn't required for overclocking, although some board manufacturers provide utilities for doing so, the memory timings can be adjusted manually in the BIOS setup of the motherboard if the motherboard supports it. Here's a list of stability and performance testing utilities (http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=28&threadid=1759901).
