I need maps for indian cities like delhi, mumbai etc. for my garmin gps for the cars. Is it possible to download Google maps to garmin GPS?

No you can not download Google maps, you can purchase Garmin GPS maps for India

You may want to go to Garmin's web site and see if they have any Firmware updates for your model as well. Garmin will not only correct problems via their updates but includes incremental levels of functionality as well.
