I live in southern California. I've been renting this for over 2 years. It's in foreclosure now. I got a 30 day noticed on my door. What can I do? Is there a form I can File to prolong the eviction?

No you have to move out, you have an eviction notice and that stands. You have 30 days. After that you will be considered squatters, found ins.

Are you sure this an eviction? Usually a 30 day notice is a notice to vacate... not an eviction. There is a very big difference. Do you have a lease?

CA laws on vacate notices:

30 days if occupied premises less than 2 years.

60 days notice if occupied 2 years or more.

Who issued the notice? Do you have a lease? If so, when did it expire? Do you know if the foreclosure has been finalized or not? Is this the first you heard of a foreclosure?

California is one of the states that has some laws to protect you, first if it is in foreclosure you do not have to pay rent until it is brought back into compliance, and you can sue for all your rent back during that time they were in foreclosure and did not notify you. ** not that they have anything but you can try. Who gave you the notice, the bank or the landlord ? You need to find out who is the actual legal owner at this point and time
