I was married for 23 years and my ex and myself agreed on a divorce which finalized on Oct. 17, 2005. I did not have a lawyer, he did. In the divorce papers he stated that he would pay me $1000 a month for the rest of my life or until I remarried. He skipped town and has not paid me since April of 2007. I have lost my home, my credit is shot, and I don't have any money to pursue this. I know where he is and I know his social security number; I would like to garnish his wages. I need a lawyer that would accept payment after this is completed and take the money out of the settlement. I also want to sue him for half of a buy out that he received from his job. He got $45,000+ and did not give me a dime of it.

I'm not sure what your question is - yes, you can certainly enforce the support if it's written into your Judgment/Decree of Divorce. Was it written in?
You are not entitled to half of the buy out if it was not covered in your divorce papers.
