I've had facial hair on my upper lip since I was 14 so I went to get it waxed regularly for years which was fine, but then my friend gave me this utensil that would kind of shave off the hair for me which was easier of course. I used it for months then I started to realize my upper lip was getting darker from the shaving, so I stopped using the utensil and now I just wax regularly. And now I have a dark lip even just after I got it waxed so it always looks like I have hair when I don't. Please help me find a really good way to get rid of this thanks for reading.

Maybe it is just stubble... that is what happens when you shave for a long time... the hair is so thick and strong, that you can still see it underneath the skin, even though you have just shaved... maybe take into consideration *IPL laser therapy* it works well... and it is permanent.

Put some makeup over that spot to blend it in for now.

So do you think that over time the hair underneath my skin will become less noticeable?

Try to exfoilate and then apply a light lightening cream.

If you use laser to remove it, then, yes it will be all gone and you won't have to use ways of getting rid of the hair anymore... usually it takes 3 or 4 sessions to remove the hair permanently...
