My electric Carrier furnace is leaking water. I would like to try to clean the drain pipe before making a service call. I cannot figure out how to get the elaborate pipe off because it is threaded. Help.

If you can locate the condensate drain on the out side of the house, hook a shop vac up to it and suck it out. It's the best way and it saves you a service call.
