My Dad died about 5 years ago and we cleaned out his shed and threw everything into storage until we could fine the time to look through all of it. One piece we found is very old has 1918 date on it. It's round and has three little cured like hooks on a small metal wheel. There is a handle to turn and I'm assuming as this is turned it made ropes back in the days.

I was wondering what it might be worth?

If you want a picture... someone will have to give me "detailed instructions" on how to attach pictures... because if tried and it's not working for me... I have even reduced the sizes and still on pictures will send. Thanks and have a great day!

This sounds very interesting concerning a rope making machine! I do know just the person who could help you to post images, and that would be jrebel7! I will let her know about your post.

Are there any other words, numbers or letters on it that could also help in the identification as well as finding out the possible monetary value of it?
