I don't know if I should take this seriously or not. I am 34, have two children and my tunes are tied. I have always had regular periods in my life starting at age 12. No heavy bleeding or skipped cycles once in awhile some cramping and a sore back. I just had one month of spotting, followed by no period for two months, followed by a "normal period, followed by two weeks later a spotting jag and then now another spotting jag instead of a period. I am pretty sure that it is not pregnancy. What I want to know is should I be concerned by this or should I just wait it out and see if it corrects itself? Any answers would be welcomed and appreciated.

Anything different over the last several months? New medications for example? Drastic weight loss?
Depending on how your tubes were tied, there is a slim chance of pregnancy. Perimenopause would be a more likely cause. It may just get back to normal on its own, but anytime there is a substantial change in your cycle, it is a good idea to speak to your doctor. They can run some tests to check for any hormone changes and of course they will want to rule out a possible pregnancy.
