Hi ,
I am on H1b visa .My annual income in the range of 60k I worked for 8 months this year and earned more than 60k. Do I have to work the rest of the months too .Because I have already fulfilled the income requirement for my H1b. So if don't work the rest of the months .would that effect my visa status .
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Regards
Tariq

If you complete Substantial Presence Test, you can file resident tax return. If you are married, you can file joint return. You will get standard deduction and exemption deduction.

Your question is NOT one about taxes, but about fulfilling the conditions of your visa.

That makes it a LEGAL question that should be posted in the Immigration Law portion of the LAW Forum.
