Greetings everyone,
I recently just purchased a gold charm and I wanted to know what does the hallmark on the back of it "14kgd" mean?
Blessings
And thanks in advance.

It means it is 14k gold.
It means it is not 10k or 18k or 24k.
The k stands for caret, which indicates the gold content in the jewellery.

Yes I understood the caret, I just didn't understand the good. Thank you again for your help.

It may mean 14 karat gold Dipped may be not solid gold it could be any metal dipped in gold. This is usually called vermeil or overlay... not sure though
