I am remodling my master bathroom and want to install a 10 inch rain shower head coming down from the celing. I am 6 ft tall and was wondering how high I need to install the head above my head. I have 8 ft celing. I also intend on installing a diverter valve so I can have a hand held shower head as well.
Also will 1 10 inch over head rain shower head be a good flow for a decent shower or do I need to have both head able to work at 1 time.
1 more does any one know what the typical home water PSI it will take to run this 10 inch shower head.
Any help anyone can provide please do
Thanks

You may be interested in the M-10 series valves from Leonard Valve Company - Home (http://www.leonardvalve.com). They are commercial and pricy, but very nice. They just don't fit in a standard space.

One of the M-10's has two volume regulating valves for just your application. One for shower 1 and 1 for shower 2. You could also place a diverter on the tub spout if you had one, but you loose some functionality.

Typical home water pressure is about 45 psi, you should check yours before installing such a large shower head. Big heads really do feel like rain because 45 psi is pretty diluted by all of the tiny jets.
