I have been dating my boyfriend for awhile now. I love him so much and he loves me. Well here lately its been hard for us to see each other and its really starting to get to me. I haven't seen him for three weeks. He works and I work and a lot of things seem to be getting in the way. Plus school is fixing to start back and we go to different schools. He goes to a school near where his mom lives. And during the summer he stays with his dad near where I live. I know he will come visit, but it may be difficult. Will our relationship be able to survive?

If you work hard at it, only time will tell.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

In my opinion, this should be posted in the Teen Section, so that you get good answers from your peers and also people who specialize in teen issues. Not all 'experts' automatically read the Relationships section and you might benefit by posthing this in the teens section too, OK.

Keep the line of communication open with him and it just might be possible that this lasts - but it will take a lot of work, patience and growth together. There is no guarantee in life when it comes to the 'heart' no matter what age we are. All we can do is try our best with the time we do share together.

Good luck.

Honestly no one can assure if your relationship will survive. First relations on those age survives only 10% because you two are still growing. Even adult couples who spends time a lot time together still go on separate ways. Relationship isn't always in "honeymoon stage".

But its good to hear you two have separate lives outside remember that. Keep that up!

Put yourself first before anything. Always remember that. Study hard, do your best in anything that you do and make sure you will be successful so any man will be proud to have you.

Thanks for the kind words. I really needed to hear it. I mean I do love him a lot and I know he loves me. Sometimes I just worry about the future. Our future. He has even mentioned of switching school and going to my high school. But I'm not sure if he really plans on doing it or not.

Just cross the bridge when you get there. Quit bothering yourself. If it will happen it will and it is for a BETTER REASON. Lessons can be learned in a painful way sometimes, you know.

You can never be 15 again, so enjoy it! (but dont engage to sex yet, never good!)

I have learned a few lessons from this relationship. Some good and bad, but many of them have helped me out a lot. Also I don't plan on having sex until after I'm married and my boyfriend respects that. Thank goodness, cause I know plenty of guys would probably pressure some girls into having sex. I'm glad I have a guy that respects my wishes.

Worry less, and have a great time when you can.
