 Please can anybody help me? It's n100 degrees and I have 2 little girls, and my a/c stopped working all together, so did the heat and the built in fan. It's a fairly new unit, less than 5 years old, thermostat is only 1 year old. I was told to hit the reset button on the furnace, but I can't find it for the life of me...............please help!

Check to make sure that the circuit breaker have not tripped off then call a/c repairman.

Usually there is no reset on the furnace unless it is oil heat and then it would only effect the heat and not the A/C. Check the circuit or fuses outside near the A/C unit also. When you go to reset a circuit breaker make sure it is all the way off and then move the lever to on.

What brand of system is it? If the blower or A/C is not working the problem may be with the inside blower section= loss of line voltage or secondary fuse blown on the low voltage side. You can reset some control board by turning the power off going to the air handler and then back to on.
