During the winter our heating unit pilot light would seem to go out all the time. Now it's summer and you can hear the motor trying to run but the squirel cage won't spin. Also it looks like a pipe at the bottom looks frosty. I've a Presidential III Coleman 7900 Series unit

Sounds like you need a service tech,, to go over entire system,, make a list ,have it all checked out in one trip from the pro`s,, unless you can replace thermocouple,check out fan motor and squirrel cage (most parts houses require a contractors license to sell you parts), and have a license,to handle freon,, good luck

Also you might want to clean the pilot orifice at the same time you change the thermocouple.

Thank you for your responses. The tec was schedule for a Monday afternoon, I just got a call with a cancelation he's on his way up here. I've got about an hour more for suggestions. I'm writing everything down. You've no idea how this has helped me :)
