I recently replaced a garbage disposal and had to also replace the drain from the dishwasher, fittings were different. In doing this I had to shut off the hot water at the stop so I could pull out the dishwasher. When I turned off the stop under the sink I noticed the faucet seemed to still flow a little so I shut off the main so I could disconnect the dishwasher supply line. Well when I was done and turned the main back on I still had the faucet turned on and the stop off, then turned on the stop and walla very low pressure. Cold side is fine, cartridges and aerator are fine. Is there a trick to the order of turning all these valves on in order to maintain the proper pressure?

You may have dirt in water supply line leading to the hot water side. Also, you may have a kink in one of the hot water hoses. ( in newer faucets, there is 3/8" flexible supply connector hose between hot water side and cartridge) See if it loops clearly.

O.K. Milo, no kink in hose but the stop handle under the sink feels like it is messed up. It looks like it is leaking a little bit. This line also has a supply line leading to the dishwasher and it seems to have good pressure. So it sounds like you think I need to disconnect the supply line to the faucet and clear it out?

Good thinking: take the supply out first, remove it completely. Inspect it . Make sure there is nothing blocking water flow. Than work yourself upward. Take flash light and look into the sink inlet tube. It that's clear, than take cartridge out and look for obstruction in there.
