What is Good English? American Or British?

I heard the Queen one time say that American's English is sloppy because they use the word faucet instead of spigot.
I guess it is all in the American 'slang' that makes the difference.
They also use u's where we do not like in favor and color they spell it favour and colour.

Objectively speaking, there is no such thing as "good English." It's all about conventions and even within the United States and the UK, conventions vary. This is a matter of which one you think sounds good.
