I have this fabulous washing machine that looks like it is leaking out the upper and lower back when it is washing. But my floor has quite a large puddle on it during the washing process and at the end. I'm not sure if it is leaking during the wash cycle or rinse/spin cycle. Do you have any clue where the water could be coming from and what I would have to do to fix it?

Hello Peter

In general leaks mainly develop around the water pump.

In the tub the max water height is controlled by a pressure switch that is controlled by air pressure building up in a pipe by the rising water level in the tub.
There are only 2 exits below the water level : one where the waterpump is connected to the tub, and around the window at the front.
A defect hose, or a broken seal may cause water leaks near the waterpump.

You first have to do some research here yourself !

Remove the rear cover and check the condition of the hoses.
Please be careful : do not touch anything while the dryer is connected to the power.
Switch on the washing machine without laundry in the tub.
Let the tub fill up with water , and check if you can see where the leak occurs.
Once the water inflow is stopped, pull the power cord out of the wall socket, and put the cable in front of you on the ground. It is now safe to do an active inspection to find out where the water is leaking from, without being hampered by the movements of the tub, and the dangers of the electrical power. Use a strong torch for checking in the dark corners.

Success !
