I have a 91 honda Civic hatchback 1.5L 4speed with 158,000 miles. The CEL is on and it reads Code 16 Fuel Injector. What does this mean and where should I start in fixing it. At high rpm the car shuts down almost like it has a governor. In 4th gear it is around 72 mph and when it get back to 70 it is fine. I know its not a governor and I don't have a tach so I don't know the actual RPMs.

Check resistance of any injector that does not click. If it's out of spec, then replace.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I went to check the resistance and notice that there was a bad connection at the injector. I was as simple as pushing the connection all the way together.
