Hello Earl

Which question of yesterday are you referring to? I do not see any question about a dishwasher under your handle...
What was the question / problem ?

The only dishwasher question yesterday was "Light film on plastic items in Dishwasher" by rggaebssplyr.
Did you perhaps use another "handle"?

If you provide details there will always be someone here who will do his/her utmost to advice you.
But remember : this is a "labor of love" activity, and sometime you have to have some patience !

If you want to contact anyone personally : click his/her handle and follow instruction to "Send Private Mail". It is the idea here that that procedure is followed only to contact people, to draw attention, but to discuss your original question where it was posted !

Just let me know where/what your original question was, or where I can find it, and I'll do my best to help you !

:)

Regarding my question about the sequencing to reset/refresh the computer on the referenced Kenmore Model, I just found the answer. I asked a Master Tech technician who had recently serviced my unit.

The sequence is : Under the "Options" heading on the control panel, push the "Hi-temp Scrub" button, then the "Air Dry" button, then the two of them in sequence again. All lights will then light up for a moment and then a diagnostic sequence will run, ending in a "reset/refershed" computer. Of course, there must be power to the unit. That is, the thermal overload protection fuse must be OK.
