I stopped taking depo in feb, and have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend of four years more times than I can count(thats how we have out firrst child) how likley is it that I can get pregnant?:rolleyes:

I would say it's very likely. Unprotected sex does that.

As has been mentioned above, it is very likely. However, depo provera is a long acting birth control. Our hospital recommends that women who want to have children within the next 2 years not use the shot as a form of birth control as it can take up to 18 months to get out of your system after the first shot. That being said, one gal in my graduating class got pregnant while on the shot.

So, as you see, each case is individual. Have you missed a period? Are you wondering if you are pregnant? Do you want to be pregnant?

I haven't had my period yet this month I shouldn't be getting it until the 18 or so. I'm not even sure if I am cause I had unprotected sex about three weeks ago!!

Unfortunately, like many others, you are now playing the waiting game. You will have to wait to see if your period shows up. If not, please test using first morning urine.
