OK I really need to lose weight before August. I'm 12 years old, about 5'2" and I weigh... 150 pounds. Yea I know, bad. How do I lose it? Like what meals should I have and what types of exercise. By the way for exercise I have a basketball hoop, a pool, DDR, and a trampoline. Thanks in advance!

Take advantage of the tools at your expense. Swim a couple of laps, jump on the trampoline for 30 minutes, and shoot hoops for 30 minutes. Eat five small meals a day, so that you are not hungry throughout the day. Drink lots of water, around 8 glasses a day. And be happy. I'm 5'3" and weigh 5 pounds more than you. You're not fat, trust me. You may be technically overweight, but who cares if you are eating healthy and exercising.

I've cut back on soda since middle of last year. I've lost a good 5-10 pounds and I'm 17, 5 ft 2 and currently 125 pounds. I never exercised (woops, but that'll change soon), and I eat pretty healthy meals. Just cut back on the sweets I'd say, and yeah I agree with the person before me with the basketball, pool, and trampoline. And I hear that DDR does one hell of a job with a workout haha ;]
