I contacted a M M Intl. for assistance to help me with my mortgage payments. They are supposed to contact the lost mitigation dept and maybe lower my payments or push the payments back. The counselor has drug her foot and not faxed the stuff to the credit union. I am 5 months behind of my payments and need some relief. If I could ever get caught up, I can make it... Is there any grants that I can maybe qualify for. I can even pay it back if necessary. Please let me know...

First I hope this is not a service you paid for, if so it may well be a scam.
But you need to be personally talking to the loss migration company yourself. And why if you can afford to make the current payments are you still getting further behind? Also if you can afford to pay back assistance, call the migration people and see if you can start current payments and start paying more to make up the payemnts you are behind.

You are almost to the point of losing the property, they don't want to, they want you to pay, so YOU call them and talk to them personally
