Hi there.

I have spy installed on my computer. I knew it because of some one can get my messenger conversations and others. They knows when I'm online on net and others. To remove this software from my computer I formatted my hard disk and re-installed OS, flashed my bios. But seems not removed. I am confused. Where also it can be store? How I can delete this?

I have Windows XP SP2 Updated. Dial-up connection.

Please, something useful.

Hi Kulek,

If you reformatted your hard disk and reinstalled OS, that software will be deleted as well.

By the way, how do you know they know when you're online on net and others. Are they telling you? Who they are?

I agree, if you reformatted the drive, its unlikley any spy software is still there. There are a number of ways people can know you are online, buddy lists, etc. How do you know they are monitoring conversations?

I can't explain. Maybe, my friends betrays me. But I'm sure for it.
Maybe, they sent me this spy and I opened it. Can it store in somewhere else?

Nope, and what makes you think they sent you a spy?

Did you let them use your computer before?

Maybe they sent it me by mail or messenger. I don't know what it is. But I suppose it can be spy, keylogger or something such thing.

But you have no clue that you actually have one, you just think you do.

Okay. Can you tell me where can store softwares like spy, keylogger? Hard diks, bios chipset, ram? Where also?

Ok lets start at the beginning, why, exactly in detail do you think there is a spy problem, who is telling you about being online and the such.

For example, I can see when you are logged on here, or if you have Yahoo messenger and on my buddy list I can see when you are logged in.

So what is happening to make you first believe there is a bug in the computer
